Kathy grew up in North Edmonton, eventually studying business and marketing at N.A.I.T. and then at the University of Lethbridge. Kathy left Canada for a job teaching English in Tokyo, returning home to work in the hotel industry before discovering her passion for baking and starting Confetti Sweets. Kathy initially sold her goods at farmers’ markets, transitioning from cookies to cupcakes and more, following her baking passion. Kathy has plans to open a second Confetti Sweets location in St. Albert.
